The Fight Island adventure seems to have taken its toll on Dana White, who has headed back almost an entire week before the Whittaker vs Till event. Once home, he received a pleasant and more so nostalgic surprise waiting for him in his office.

White couldn’t contain his glee and shared the surprise with his followers on TwitterThe UFC President said, “So we’re on Fight Island and we’re doing the fight the other night, and I see Otter Pops in the Octagon.”

The brand served as a sponsor to the UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs Benavidez 2. The eagle-eyed Dana White managed to spot it and shared an image at the time via a Tweet. At the time of writing this article, the post has 142 retweets and 1.5k likes.

Dana White terms Otter Pops a nostalgic brand

White continued, “And I’m like, That’s so f**king cool, obviously a very nostalgic brand from when we were kids, and adults.”

He whispers the last 2 words as though trying to keep a secret. But adults all over the world would have an affection for something from their childhood and relate to the UFC President. 

He said, “So I posted about them cause I figured everybody would think that was cool. And these guys do not f**k around. I just got home last night from Fight Island and look at what’s in my office here. Right, take a look inside.”

White moved his camera to the right and revealed an entire freezer of candy. With a gleeful smile plastered on his face, he said, “Thank you Otter Pops, I appreciate it.”

Dana White posting about Otter Pops will certainly see the product fly off the shelves soon. Even if it doesn’t, there will be many people searching to find out what exactly is Otter Pops. As a result, the brand may get new consumers too.
