Colby Covington without a doubt is one of the greatest fighters the welterweight division has seen. The fighter has sacrificed a lot even if his bad-boy image says otherwise. Covington feels the UFC has used him properly considering all that he has given to the sport.

Covington is aware that it seems like the UFC as an organization is playing with the fighters for its own profit. But he understands that it is the entertainment show business and that is how it is in this line of work.

“I wanna put on a show for the fans. I wanna give them some light in the darkness. Give some people hope, give someone some inspiration to keep going. The UFC, they haven’t utilized me the right way.

When it comes to trash talk and harsh words, Covington is rather unapologetic. He has a way of riling people up and pitting them against himself. He has successfully turned entire nations against himself by provoking them.

For instance, by making hate comments against Damien Maia he managed to rile the favela gangs enough to make them fix a price on his head.

“Put my whole life on the line for this company. I was willing to go to Brazil when I had favelas wanting my head for $50,000. I was willing to fight… on 6 days notice against the guy who had a full camp and Tyron Woodley.”- Colby Covington

The King of Chaos feels that he is here to make the sport great again as well as moving the sport forward to greater heights.

“The UFC needs to give me the ball and I’m gonna run for the touchdown. They need to stop treating me like s**t. They need to stop f*****g putting incompetent refs in there. It needs to be fair.”- Colby Covington

The 32-year-old fighter very openly supports the President from the Republican Party, Donald Trump. However, a lot of people think that Trump is not the guy for the job. And Covington feels that the UFC holds his support for Trump against him. All he begs for is a level playing field.

Do you think the King of Chaos is being forced to play on the backfoot or is the UFC the real culprit here?
