Rogan’s enthusiasm can be seen in his work. The American holds nothing back and accurately describes the action taking place inside the cage. His feelings are raw and on the spur of the moment.

Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz—arguably the best trash talker in the sport—headlined UFC 183. It was Silva’s first bout after suffering a gruesome leg injury at the hands (leg) of Chris Weidman.

As soon as the bout started, Diaz dropped his hands and started talking trash to Silva. Instantly, Joe Rogan went bonkers!

“I love it! I love it!” Rogan said. “They need to drop a microphone in there so I can hear what he’s saying. He is talking mad trash.”

Diaz laid down in front of one of the greatest fighters to step inside the octagon, completely disrespecting a legend of the sport. Rogan couldn’t hold it in. He burst out laughing and banged the commentary desk repeatedly.

When Nick Diaz turned his back to the ‘Spider,’ Rogan—in a humorous tone—said:

“Look at this! This is the greatest thing I have ever seen!”

The fight ended in a decision win for Anderson Silva. However, it was later overturned to a no-contest, as both fighters failed a drugs test.

It has been over 5 years since Nick Diaz competed in the octagon. His fight with Silva was his last performance. To this day, Rogan wishes to see Nick compete again.

“I would love to see him back in there again, you know,” Joe Rogan said on his podcast.
