Daniel Cormier and Ariel Helwani collaborate for an entertaining show every week. Here, they discuss the A-Z of the world of MMA. ‘DC’ addressed his last fight, stating that he wants Stipe Miocic as his opponent. However, everything wasn’t all serious. The duo found time to address a hilarious incident involving former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold.

Daniel Cormier left in splits after hearing about the Zombie incident

Amusingly, DC had not heard of what his friend had been up to. Helwani enlightened him.

“He said he was going for a walk. I think with his dog in Santa Monica and all of a sudden, this woman, who appeared to be homeless, started going after him and started to spit on him and he said that he funk kicked her. He said it was Zombie attack.”

DC roared with laughter while listening to Helwani, who couldn’t hide his amusement as he asked the Heavyweight fighter if he didn’t hear about it.

“I talked to Luke last week. He never told me anything. It’s like this. Some lady sees Luke’s face and goes, I wanna spit on him,” said an amused ‘DC.’

Next, Helwani quoted the former Champion’s interview with Submission Radio. At the same time, ‘DC’ just couldn’t help but cackle with laughter. He said, “this is why you never leave the house. Can you imagine you getting attack by zombies? Can you actually imagine if you got attacked by that zombie?”

‘DC’ was left in splits throughout. One wonders if the former two-division champion will be looking out for zombies as he journeys to Florida for UFC 249 and the May 13 event.

We hope he doesn’t, as a mythical creature should be the last of anyone’s worries amidst a pandemic. Also, ‘once DC’ leaves, he will be gone for at least 3 weeks as he needs to serve a 2-week quarantine imposed by his wife.

The fighter will clearly have all thee time in the world to be up to date with more amusing stories like Luke Rockhold’s front kick.
