“To Be Your Dad Is What I Live For”- Daniel Cormier Pens an Emotional Message on Father’s Day

Former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier joined the world in Father’s day celebrations. The color commentator took to Twitter to share some valued moments in the frame along with lovely words for his young ones.

“In a life full of accomplishments these are my two biggest. To be your dad is what I live for. I wanna wish all you strong and loving dads out there a happy Father’s Day. [I] Hope you all enjoy your day!! [Dan’s dad]. [Keke’s dad]. [Cormier kids]. [Happy Father’s Day.]

In expressing his love for his children, Daniel Cormier II and Kaedyn Cormier, DC wished each and every father of the world.

He even said that all his accomplishments combined are nothing compared to the joy of fathering the two. Very well put and wisely said. However, are his accomplishments over, or does he still have something left to achieve?

Daniel Cormier looking forward to beating Stipe Miocic in the trilogy fight

Daniel Cormier has one last fight left in him. And he wants to go out and prove that he should never have lost to Stipe Miocic, the current Heavyweight Champion.

DC has been waiting for quite some time for the trilogy fight. However, due to Miocic’s duties as a frontline fighter during the pandemic, UFC kept pushing the fight back.

Nevertheless, the two finally signed the contract and will meet in mid-August. The event even has an official name: UFC 252.

The trilogy between the two has been a great saga of fights. It started with Cormier moving up to Heavyweight and beating Miocic to become a multi-divisional champion.

Subsequently, he lost out on the title as Miocic beat him via TKO in their rematch.

Thus, DC is looking forward to the final fight of his career as he aims to hang the gloves while he is at the top.

Do you think he will be able to beat Miocic in their rematch?
