Jorge Masvidal will fight for the undisputed welterweight strap in the main event of UFC 251. Originally, it was supposed to be Gilbert Burns. However, Masvidal stepped in when Burns tested positive for the Coronavirus. Since Masvidal took the fight on short notice, many critics—including Askren—believe that he has slim chances of winning.

Askren and Masvidal fought almost a year ago. Masvidal’s win over Askren made “Gamebred” popular worldwide. It is Dana White’s favorite KO, and it also happens to be the fastest KO (5 seconds) in UFC history. The knockout sequence is one of the main selling points of the latest UFC 4 promo.
