Movsar Evloev is a former M-1 bantamweight champion and makes his second UFC appearance in 2020 at UFC on ESPN 16. Evloev is 13-0 in his career and is coming off three consecutive unanimous decision wins in his UFC run.
The Russian is making his debut on the UFC Fight Night 149 – Overeem vs. Oleynik card against Seung Woo Choi, whom he took down five times during the fight.

Nate ‘The Train’ Landwehr also joined the UFC from the M-1 promotion. The American made his debut on the UFC Fight Night 166 – Blaydes vs. dos Santos at the start of 2020. However, he would not enjoy the most favorable debut as he lost to Herbert Burns in the first round due to a vicious knee from Burns. He then fought again this year, this time on the UFC on ESPN 8 – Overeem vs. Harris against Darren Elkins.
Landwehr had a triumphant performance as he earned a unanimous decision in a great battle.

UFC Fight Night: Movsar Evloev vs Nate Landwehr Preview
Evloev (13-0) is currently unbeaten in his career. The Russian is a perfect 3-0 since arriving at the UFC level, dominating his opponents to earn unanimous decisions. While Movsar Evloev may favor the rear-naked choke, he has three wins via KO/TKO and four by way of submission. Against his other two opponents, Enrique Barzola and Mike Grundy, Evloev recorded four and six takedowns respectively during the fight.

Landwehr (14-3), is two inches taller than Evloev, and primarily focuses on his punching. Expect Landwehr to come out swinging and give the Russian everything he has, but ultimately it may not be enough. While Landwehr does have a well-rounded game with decent takedown defense, Evloev’s wrestling is on a different level.

Movsar Evloev is expected to take Landwehr with his dominant wrestling style. However, he will do well to finish the durable Landwehr and earn his first-ever finish in the UFC. However, all odds point to Evloev going home with another unanimous decision.
