UFC President Dana White has been extremely busy for the last few weeks. The UFC first postponed 3 fight nights. Later they found a venue for UFC 249. However, the event was a no go as ESPN higher up asked the UFC President to stand down. White convinced fighters in a video call about the safety measures and provisions for the next free months. In all this, he is being second-guessed by the media.

Ten days before White possibly achieves his goal of bringing fights to the public, he spent some time with the only people who have been with him. The fans.

White took to Reddit to answer questions in an AMA session. Here he spoke about a multitude of topics such as fight Island, the rematch he wants the most, and the toughest part about being the UFC President. He has held the post for close to two decades and had a surprising answer when asked about his favorite knockout of all time.

Dana White reveals his favorite KO

“Hmmm. When I give you this answer everyone is going to think it’s because I don’t like Ben Askren. And it’s just not true at all. I do like Ben. But it’s hard not to pick Masvidal vs. Askren.”

The fight took place at UFC 239. ‘Gamebred’ ended the fight in a blink and you miss it fashion. As soon as the round began he unleashed a vicious flying knee to leave his opponent sprawled on the floor. One wonders if White named this knockout as the best just because it is fresh in everyone’s heads.

He does use the words “hard not to pick”. It indicates that he clearly has some other ones in kind too. Is this really his favorite? It says a lot about it if it is so as White has watched fights in the UFC for close to 2 decades. He has seen some of the most iconic moments in the Octagon.

What are your views on this? Is there any other knockout that is better than the BMF’s record-setting 5-second one?
