Chris Weidman vs Uriah Hall 10 years later

It was only the third professional fight of Weidman’s career, and he made his UFC debut less than 6 months later. Meanwhile, it was Hall’s fifth pro fight, and he would debut for UFC in 2013 on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs. Team Sonnen.

Since they entered the UFC, Weidman has become the UFC middleweight champion. Hall is yet to fight for a UFC title but is on a winning streak as of late, winning his last 3 in a row.

Although the same age, both are at different points in their career. Weidman was undefeated in his career before the Luke Rockhold loss. Since then, he has gone from being UFC champion to having lost 5 of his last 7 fights.

Hall, on the other hand, lost to Kelvin Gastelum in the Ultimate Fighter Season 17 final. Since then he has had multiple wins and losses in the UFC.

UFC 258 Main Card

Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya dominated Paulo Costa from start to the end at UFC 253. He is now focused on moving to 205 for the light heavyweight title. With Stylebender focused on Jan Blachowicz, it gives the middleweight division time to find itself a brand new #1 contender.

UFC 258 is rumored to be headlined by welterweight champion Kamaru Usman defending his title against Gilbert Burns. A matchup between Weidman and Hall will be an exciting addition to the card.
