In the wake of the widespread coronavirus, UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko has taken to Instagram in order to share the fondest memories she has of her hobbies.

Recently, she posted a throwback video of herself at a Texas firing range. One can see ‘The Bullet’ loading bullets into a shotgun and executing a rapid-fire routine.

Where does The Bullet get her love for guns from?

The Kyrgyzstani is an extremely ardent gun enthusiast. She was introduced to the world of weapons by the same man who christened her ‘The Bullet’. And that is her coach, Pavel Fedotov.

Fedotov was a Soviet Army Officer who saw three wars in his time. He was a part of the Armoured contingent, where he manned the Russian-made T-72s.

Thus, his knowledge about the world of weapons is quite extraordinary. Soon, Shevchenko picked up her coach’s passion and wandered deep into the realm of weapons.

In fact, Shevchenko is so passionate about guns, that she got her favorite gun tatted on her body. One can clearly see the infamous Glock-19 in all its glory on Shevchenko’s left abdomen.

Shevchenko feels that the Glock-19 is royalty amongst guns. She reveres it so much that whatever praise she has for the gun sounds like poetry! Here’s an example:

“[Glock] 19 is another landmark for me. It is universal, just like an MMA fighter. That is why I got a tattoo on my lower abdomen several years ago. So, now I can always keep it near me.” [Source- kalshnikov.media]

What else are the hobbies of Valentina Shevchenko?

While the dominance that Shevchenko displays inside the octagon speaks volumes about the talent she houses, that is not where the champion’s limits end!

And while the mesmerizing moves and fighting and shooting are enough talents for one person, there is one last nail in the coffin. At least that we know of.

Well, not only is Shevchenko wholesome in her fighting techniques, but also in real life. We wonder how many more fields of art and talent she aims to conquer.
