‘Fake UFC Stats’ does not impress John McCarthy

A 17-second KO over Gerald Meerschaert won Khamzat a lot of fans. In the process, he set a record for the least time taken (66 days) to amass 3 wins in the UFC. This, however, did not sit well with ‘Big’ John McCarthy, who voiced his opinion on his podcast ‘Weighing In.’

McCarthy said, “The only bad thing in this is the UFC is trying to push him and I don’t blame them. He’s a stud. This guy is a stud. But the first thing they say is if he wins this, he’s the first one to win 3 fights the fastest. I’m like come on man! You’ve got better stats to come up with than fake stats.”
