Per DailyMail, the incident took place when the athlete was roaming the streets of New York City. He saw a ‘crazy’ homeless man punching a construction worker. Hence, the 44-year-old reacted immediately. In a fraction of a second, he grappled the man to the ground.

Additionally, the MMA fighter revealed later that, before engaging in the altercation, he thought about his mother.
