Mike Perry has been in the news more for pulling some infamous stunts than for his fight victories. Just two weeks ago, TMZ published a video where the Platinum Perry punched an old man and reportedly threw some unacceptable remarks at him. Now, this incident took no time to pick up the heat and UFC had to officially come forward to penalize Mike.
The American MMA artist stands at a 14-6-0 record and had recently defeated Mickey Gall. He has had a track record for going off the bounds. Even before joining UFC, he spent six months in prison for an armed robbery. Platinum Perry had a rough childhood and is known for carrying bad blood.

Henry Cejudo fought his last bout in a Bantamweight co-main event on 10th May. He defeated Dominick Cruz and bettered his record. Next, he might have to defend his legacy against Deiveson Figueiredo who recently won his Flyweight Championship.

The duo of Triple C and Platinum Perry has now dropped a 6-second video where they’re seen making quite a statement. Cejudo is heard saying, “Platinum Perry is innocent baby. Bend the knee!” Take a look!

This might have been their response to UFC’s statement. It stated and demanded Mike seek professional help with his problem of alcohol abuse before deserving a comeback.
#BendTheKnee is nothing new for Cejudo
Recently, when Alexander Volkanovski was asked whether he wished to next take on Cejudo, he denied it on the face. The Great who defeated Max Holloway in a controversy plagued split decision, said, “me fighting him ain’t helping my legacy.” To this, Cejudo used the hashtag BendTheKnee and responded by saying “I’ll bet my whole purse that you wouldn’t beat me! And my first girlfriend”.

Notably, Mike Perry had his girlfriend Latory Gonzalez at his corner in his fight against Gall. She had no professional experience of being there as help but Mike specifically finds her very motivating. Only time will tell if she can also help Mike leave his past behind and stay a hundred percent focused on his remaining promising career with UFC.
