

Former UFC champion Henry Cejudo can be seen preparing for professional wrestling from the Team Vision Dojo academy. Via the dojo’s Instagram, Cejudo, and trainer Eric Albarracin appear to be significantly involved in a newly chartered venture. Henry Cejudo recently retired from the sport of mixed martial arts back in May following a victory over Dominick Cruz.

Henry Cejudo has been a lifelong fanatic of professional wrestling and has spoken about it publically in the past. Throughout his tenure in the UFC, he would end up concocting a persona that was well received by most fans.
It appears that the former Olympian wrestler is already attempting his hand at an unknown avenue. On a recent appearance on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Henry Cejudo gave some insights as to his aspirations going forward. ‘Triple C’ also detailed his journey into MMA where it seems as though he had a similarly unknown start.
Henry Cejudo: A brief history
Cejudo reached mainstream popularity as a mixed martial artist after successfully dethroning Demetrious Johnson. ‘Mighty Mouse’ looked untouchable with a streak of 13 victories.
Henry Cejudo would then go on to capture the Bantamweight title thus joining a shortlist of dual champions in the promotion. Chiefly his star would burn bright as the dual champion began building a resume that befitted a Hall of Famer.

However, UFC 249 saw the surprise departure of Cejudo as he announced his retirement at the post-fight interview. Speculation surrounded the sudden departure of the champion mainly viewed as a ploy to aid in contract negotiations. He would speak out in-depth to Joe Rogan and explained his thought process on walking away. Not to mention he elucidated an interest in dabbling through other avenues after reaching the pinnacle of success in MMA.
