Even before he took the UFC by storm, Israel Adesanya was knocking people out in kickboxing fights. It was his experience in the same that has led to him being, arguably, the best strikers on the current UFC rosters.

The experience of about eighty kickboxing contests has given Adesanya a place to horn his striking, which he uses very effectively in the Octagon. Adesanya posted a video on his Instagram where he is working the mitts. ‘The Last Stylebender’ throws ten kicks, with each of them resulting in a thud louder than the last one.

Israel Adesanya started kickboxing at the age of 18. He was inspired after watching the Muay Thai film Ong-Bak. For a man who is heavily into popular culture, the roots of his career are almost perfectly placed. Adesanya also watches a lot of animes. During his school days, he was more interested in watching Japanese anime such as Death Note and Naruto than he was in sports.

With his last fight against Yoel Romero ending up in a rather lack-luster affair, Adesanya will be hoping to turn the tide in his next outing. However, his next assignment might be more than just a five-round fight inside the Octagon.

With a global pandemic depriving the fans of regular action, Dana White took it upon himself to undo the damage. He has pulled off numerous events since May and will continue to do so next month on Fight Island. Moreover, he is planning to bring back the hit reality show The Ultimate Fighter.

A number of pairs were in contention to be the coaches on the next season of TUF. However, the buzz around Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa was the maximum. Costa mentioned on Twitter that he wanted $15 million to be on the show. However, it may be the case that he was simply trolling.
