UFC Light Heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones was arrested on Thursday for multiple charges. The police reported that he was driving under the influence of alcohol. A video from the bodycam of the officer who arrested Jones has been released. It shows Jones in a very emotional state.

Officer Brian Johnson of the Albuquerque Police Department approached the black SUV which had Jones on the driver’s seat. The officer asked Jones if he had been drinking. The latter replied positively. He admitted that he had vodka earlier that day. Brian then asked Jon to follow his finger.

Suspecting Jones of DWI charges, the officer proceeded to conduct the preliminary tests for sobriety. The tests included walking nine steps forward and backward. Subsequently, he also asked Jones to recite numbers and alphabet. During the tests, Jones said that he suffered from Attention Deficiency Disorder (ADD). He also added that he got punched in the face for a living.

The initial reports submitted by the officers showed that Jones performed poorly in all three tests. Consequently, the officers booked him under four charges which include aggravated DWI and negligent use of firearms.

Jones became really emotional when the officers brought out the handcuffs. He was addressing them as “Sir” all the while. Furthermore, he didn’t resist the arrest at all. In a voice that almost broke, Jones said, “Sir, if it’s not too much, could you roll down the window?”

Jones‘ previous struggles with the police are an open secret. His first run-in with the police was under a similar situation. Back in 2012, he crashed his car into a pole in New York. He later pleaded guilty to DUI charges. He was also involved in a hit-and-run incident back in 2015. The incident later led to him being stripped of his title.
