WATCH: Jorge Masvidal Gets Physical in New Cornhole Match-Up

Bonafide UFC megastar Jorge Masvidal is set to make his debut appearance in the American Cornhole League on Aug 5. For the uninitiated, Cornhole is a competitive game that sees players tossing beans bags in turns at a board.

The player with the most points is crowned the victor. Not to mention, the BMF champion will square off against the ACL champion, Cody Henderson.

‘Gamebred’ took to Twitter and shared a video grab via ESPN MMA that sees him face off against the champion. Chiefly, the stare-down between the two competitors began to heat up, promoting Masvidal’s son to step in.

The hilarious video release provides yet another stark reminder of why Masvidal is endeared by MMA fans.

Chiefly, Jorge Masvidal underwent a career resurgence in MMA following a brief stint on a reality game show. MMA fans and the media immediately noticed a significant change in the fighter that translated into highlight performances.

Going against the ACL champ in Henderson, ‘Gamebred’ will be looking to capitalize on his 15-point head start. Notably, the ACL began to receive major recognition when UFC President Dana White went after Bob Arum.

White claimed that Top Rank Boxing was barely pulling past the ratings of the American Cornhole League.

Jorge Masvidal is a certified draw in MMA and will most definitely go a long way in boosting viewership. His most recent scrap against Kamaru Usman for the undisputed gold attained massive viewership at UFC 251.

His career in MMA has spanned over 16 years. However, he failed to receive mainstream attention until his famed return last year. Masvidal managed to stop Darren Till and Ben Askren dead in their tracks, scoring violent finishes.

Not to mention, he secured the BMF strap in a fight against Nate Diaz at Madison Square Garden.
