Shocking new footage of the man who broke into the house of UFC Light Heavyweight Anthony Smith has surfaced on social media.
As described by Smith in his interview with Ariel Helwani, Luke Haberman [the accused] tried breaking into several other houses and cars before he landed inside his house. What one sees in the footage is absolutely staggering. The 20-something wrestler from Nebraska can be seen screaming at the top of his voice, thanks to the camera set in place by the owners of the house he was trying to break into.
.@lionheartasmith says he’s still ready to fight on 4/25 even after he fought off an intruder at his home over the weekend. This is video for the suspect after he allegedly broke into another man’s home before going to Smith’s. Smith describes what happened.@3NewsNowOmaha pic.twitter.com/mGwSlTjimo

The way Haberman is shouting in the footage is truly ghastly. This is the footage of the same house that he ran out of. After escaping from the rear gate, he tried getting in through the front door. He can be heard screaming “GET OUT! GET OUT, NOW!”.
While the police immediately suspected drug abuse, many think that his history of mental illness and domestic violence are the reasons behind this disastrous venture of his.
“Part of this is my fault”- Anthony Smith
Walking Ariel through the incident, Smith described the events that unfolded that night. Apparently, Luke Haberman attempted breaking into several cars and houses. With each attempt, he gained more confidence.
After successfully breaking into the neighbor’s house and running away, an open garage door at one of the houses caught his eye. And that’s when he made the mistake of walking into the “Lionhearted”‘s den.

Smith said, “Unfortunately, part of this is my fault. I left the garage door wide open, which is not typical. Happens sometimes. So, there’s a video of him trying to get into a car. He runs away from the house and almost runs by my house. And stops, and steps right in.”

However, he also described just how safe his neighborhood is. Thus, things such as leaving the garage door open by accident were never a major concern. Until now, of course.
