After being slated to return against ‘The Diamond’ at UFC 254, the matchup is on the verge of collapsing. As per reports, Dustin Poirier is unhappy with UFC at this point for which he is unwilling to appear at UFC 254.

If UFC and Poirier cannot come under terms, it will end Ferguson’s return. However, he can opt for some other opponents, since the lightweight roster is one of the deepest units in the UFC. But for the moment, Ferguson and Poirier are still lined up against each other, with no official updates.
