UFC Lightweight Tony Ferguson seems to be on perhaps the freshest stretch of his career in years. He took his 12-fight streak-shattering loss at the hands of ‘The Highlight‘ Justin Gaethje in remarkably high spirits. And his recovery, along with his renewed vigor to compete, makes him even more dangerous.
In a display of just how much he is enjoying his rest these days, ‘El Cucuy‘ took to Twitter to share a video.

It is clear to see that Ferguson is having a splendid time in the Entertainment Capital of the World. An early morning tour of perhaps the most commercial part of the city is surprisingly beautiful!
With the sun still waiting to glance a peek over the horizon, the skateboard ride along the deserted boulevard, crossing the magnificent T-Mobile Arena, Toshiba Plaza, and the New York-New York Hotel amidst the serene lighting is a sight to behold.
Truly, Ferguson knows how to chill like a pro! Another thing that seems quite unique about his recent posts is that he has quite taken to skateboarding quite often.
What is next for Tony Ferguson?
As cheerful as the ‘Boogeyman’ seems, he has several opponents lined up. And the fact that he is aching to get back as a rejuvenated fighter cannot be encouraging news for anyone will face him in the octagon.

The top two of the division, Justin Gaethje and ‘The Eagle‘ Khabib Nurmagomedov, will clash in October in a title fight. Therefore, the spot for a new top contender is now open. And it seems highly probable that Tony will fight for that spot whenever he fights next.
A matchup that holds promising potential is the bout between Ferguson and ‘The Diamond’ Dustin Poirier. Poirier is coming fresh off a victory over Dan Hooker, as the two engaged in an all-out war on June 27, 2020.

After the bout, it became crystal clear that Poirier is far from done in his career. In fact, his performance that night was arguably the best of his career, making him a serious contender for the title.
Standing at #2, Poirier makes for an almost ideal opponent for Ferguson, #3. Who do you think Ferguson will face next?
