Former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley made his long-awaited appearance on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s ‘The Titan Games.’ ‘The Chosen One’ gave it his all in the early rounds and qualified for the finale titled ‘Mount Olympus.’ Here, fans got treated to a spectacular contest between the UFC fighter and high school teacher Will Sutton.

Woodley fell behind at the starting gates itself. Sutton scaled the second vertical wedge and scurried beneath the third. Following this, he maintained a minor advantage over ‘The Chosen One’ in ‘Box Flip.’

As Woodley rolled the box one final time, Sutton was atop the box heading to ‘Iron Ascent.’ The agriculture teacher showed no signs of letting up. He propelled himself across the iron cable and was more than halfway across before Woodley commenced stage 3.

Sutton seemed to be drawing on adrenaline as well as the cheers of the crowd as he raced up an incline. He did this whilst pushing a near 200lbs log. Meanwhile, the former UFC Welterweight Champion trudged on and seemed to be struggling on the log lift.

By the time he reached the top, Sutton had already unlocked half the sky bridge. Using another leap he went onto the next step to rotate a crank to free up the other half of the bridge.

Here, Sutton entered the cage crawl and was in a world of his own with Woodley almost an entire stage behind. As The current ranked Welterweight contender struggled with the Crank Down, Sutton had arrived at the ‘Drop Zone.’

He skipped along stage 8 as though he was walking in flat ground and not on a sequence to test his balance. As the camera cut to Woodley, he seemed defeated. His shoulders had dropped and he didn’t seem to want to crank it up to catch Sutton. He began dragging the 300-pound weighted ball as Woodley navigated his way through the cage crawl.

When Woodley desperately dragged the second iron sphere to the ‘Titan Tomb’ the game ended. Sutton successfully retrieved the relic and reached the endpoint for a monumental win over the UFC star.

The road is not over for Woodley who will get a chance as all runner ups do. He will certainly know the beast he is facing having run the course once and will look to be prepared even better.
