Khabib Nurmagomedov used to train with bears growing up in Dagestan. “The Eagle” has been put to test from an early age, and his exemplary MMA career is courtesy of the hardships he had to endure growing up under the strict training regimen that his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov used to put him through.

Khabib Nurmagomedov passed all the tests and has retired with a career UFC fighters can only wish for.

With an impeccable record of 29-0 and wins over former champion, including the likes of Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier, Khabib Nurmagomedov was a force to be reckoned with inside the Octagon.

Additionally, an argument can be made that he is one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time. However, even the undefeated and undisputed champion of the world has his fair share of fears.

While nature has always held a snake under an Eagle’s claws, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s fear of snakes is well known. Khabib’s teammate pranked the champion by bringing in a snake inside the gym. Khabib, who was sitting, can be seen running away in a rare scenario because of his fear of the reptile.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is scared of snakes

Fight fans have gotten used to watching Khabib control his opponents. He is dominant and likes to keep the octagon pressure whenever he steps inside the cage. However, in a completely rare sight, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s fear of snakes was on display as the lightweight champion dashed to the staircase the moment his teammate tried to bring the snake closer to him.

The fear was evident on Khabib’s face, who later collided with his teammate, seemingly breaking his teeth. On the other side, his teammate had blood gushing out his head due to the collision that took place near the staircase.

Khabib has stated in the past that he likes the eagle. He has also trained with a bear; however, the Dagestani fighter is scared of snakes.
