Georges St-Pierre is among the greatest competitors to ever set foot in the octagon. He ruled the welterweight division for seven years and suffered just two losses in a Hall of Fame worthy career. Despite claims that he is a superior being, fans realized that Georges St-Pierre may be just like everyone else.
On an episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Georges St-Pierre spilled the beans on a childhood fear. He said, “Yeah, I’m afraid of aliens.”

However, ‘Rush’ calmed his fans down by assuring them that he has it covered, should aliens pay him a visit. The then welterweight champion said,
“I know karate and I know jiu-jitsu. So if the aliens show up, I’ll put a triangle choke on them. And I have also a Japanese katana, so if they come I can slice them apart.”
“It’s a collection,” said St-Pierre, who explained why he has a katana at home.
Georges St-Pierre says he forgets what happens to him for a few hours
St-Pierre believed that he would zone out at times, which is a sign that aliens have taken over. When Rogan said that’s what sleeping is, ‘GSP’ concurred.

“Sometime I’m looking at the clock and it’s like a wake-up and look at the clock right after. And it’s like the clock advanced four hour or two hour. Those are times I don’t remember what happened.”
He assured his fans that he is not alien, and claimed that if he were, he would be significantly better. Rogan found this hard to believe, as did many MMA observers. This is because, at the time of the interview, the fighter held a 24-2 professional record.
Furthermore, he claimed ten wins in a row, with seven of these being championship defenses, and delivered performances that were out of this world. “I’m sure if it happened, I would have been much better than this. If I were alien manufactured I would be superman,” said St-Pierre.

‘GSP’ concluded by providing Rogan with fighters who could have been built by aliens. He said, “Maybe they manufacture Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo”
Following the interview, Georges St-Pierre defended the welterweight belt once more. He vacated the title and went on a four-year hiatus before claiming the middleweight title in 2017.

Will GSP ever return to UFC?
As of 2020, Khabib Nurmagomedov has indicated that he wants to end his career with a fight with ‘GSP’. However, the closest the Canadian great will be to the UFC is behind the desk for French media house, Réseau des sports. He will begin analytical duties with next week’s UFC 252 PPV.
One does wonder if aliens will take center stage yet again, and St-Pierre suddenly looks at the clock and finds that the time has just flown past.
