“We Have Been Doing Everything”- Yoel Romero Speaks Out On Coronavirus Outbreak

Yoel Romero and his team are doing everything they can to keep COVID-19 at bay. The camp has taken the necessary steps to keep the fighter as well as themselves safe admits the virus scares.

Yoel Romero recently spoke about all the steps and precautions his team is taking to help him stay healthy. His health is of top priority, mainly in regards to his upcoming fight against the middleweight champion Adesanya this weekend. Moreover, general precautions have to be taken because of the grave seriousness of this virus. People all over the world have lost their lives to this epidemic.

Romero being a celebrity and a person of fame needs to take extra precautions. He is always surrounded by people and fans. The virus is one that is air bourne and can also spread through contact. So during interactions with fans and at press conferences he needs to be extra careful.

What is Yoel Romero doing to keep himself Virus free?

In an interview recently, he spoke about the disease and the steps he’s taking to keep safe. Romero said, “Our team has tried to be as clean as possible. Cleaning everything, taking vitamins. We’ve been doing everything separately.
Romero has been actively trying to stay away from large crowds. They’ve also gone a step further and booked different hotel rooms for themselves. “We’ve been improvising as much as we can.” Said Yoel Romero. Romero’s training partner is from Italy, and at the recent UFC 248 Workouts, he said a small prayer for him and all the people of Italy.

Even when the lumps on Adesanya’s body were brought up he didn’t seem fazed. During an open work out people noticed unusual bumps on Israel Adesanya’s body and though it was a staph infection. In response to this Adesanya said, “I have never had it and I never will.” Romero in response to the staph question shunned it away and said,” I’m more worried about his health.”

Both fighters seem on top of the whole virus scare and are taking steps to stay ahead of it. They right now seem healthy. And the only thing on their mind right now is their soon approaching title clash. Yoel Romero vs Israel Adesanya goes down at UFC 248 and no virus can come in the way of that!
