UFC 249 proved to be a blockbuster of an event on most accounts. With fighters and staff being tested, Dana White admitted they’re still figuring out various social distancing protocols.

Despite, stringent protocols put in place, Rogan went against the orders of UFC.  Rogan was asked to maintain distance from fighters during the post-fight interview, however, this request was ignored. Dana White admitted that Rogan has a point, and for the upcoming events changes will be made.

The people that are still here we know are negative. Umm, I don’t know. You know, we’re just trying to… Like I was saying to John Morgan earlier, we’re still figuring this thing out. You know, this was the first one. It was a success. Wednesday will be better. Saturday will be better than that. So on and so forth”. Said White during the broadcast

Given UFC’s strict health and safety measures, such issues will not be a common occurrence for the upcoming UFC events. UFC is set to return on Wednesday night, with Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira headlining the event.
