Jared Gordon picked up an impressive win via unanimous decision over Chris Fishgold in their recent matchup at UFC Fight Night ‘Kattar vs Ige’. The three-rounder battle between Gordon and Fishgold saw both the men swinging blows inside the octagon. However, Jared ‘Flash’ Gordon landed more significant strikes (44) and three successful takedowns to claim the victory over his European rival.
‘Flash’ has already resurrected himself back to the win column with this latest victory at UFC Fight Island. However, Jared Gordon also revealed how he has been battling some personal problems for the past few weeks. In the post-fight interview, Gordon dedicated the victory to his “girl” and explained why she deserves so.

The 31-year-old American martial artist detailed his tough times during the past few weeks. As per Gordon, his “girl” had a miscarriage two weeks ago. A few days later, she tested positive for the coronavirus, forcing him to quarantine all alone. It has been a hard time for Gordon, but the ‘Flash’ did not let it hamper his performance against Chris Fishgold at the Fight Island.
“This fight is for my girl, two weeks ago she had a miscarriage, we were 10 weeks long, I was in that mode, lost the baby. Three days later she got diagnosed with coronavirus right after the miscarriage. So I had to quarantine by myself,” said Jared Gordon.

Jared Gordon is now 4-3 in UFC. He has a 16-4 pro-MMA record and appears to be one of the most dynamic featherweights in the existing UFC roster. Gordon has to cover a long way before stepping into the 145 lbs title mix. However, he has already impressed a bunch of MMA veterans and fellow UFC superstars with his impressive in-octagon performances.
