Ahead of their match, the duo looks fully prepared to face each other. The build-up so far has been an entertaining one. From social media call outs to dance-offs, they have done it all. As fight night closes in, the words exchanged have picked up heat and have become more intense.

Romero has fought for the title twice. The first time he fought was against Robert Whittaker for the interim middleweight title. If he had to win that fight, he would have faced Michael Bisping for the undisputed title. However, he lost that fight by a close decision.

Yoel Romero plans to keep the judges out of his next fight

The second time he fought for the title was also against Robert Whittaker. Again, Romero lost by a close decision. Many still believe that he won both the fights but the judge’s felt otherwise. Ideally, it would take quite a few victories for Romero to get the next title shot.

However, just one fight after his second fight with Whittaker, Romero got his third and probably final crack at the middleweight championship.

During UFC Media Lunch Day, Yoel Romero revealed how the third title fight with Adesanya will go.
Romero claims that he will not let the judges interfere in the fight this time. He believes that he needs to finish the champion to win the title.

He said, “The centre of the plan is to knock him out.”

When the reporter asked him “When?”, Romero replied by saying, “When he makes one little mistake…Boom!”
