“You Are Completely Muted For Life”-Tyron Woodley Mocks Leon Edwards For Backstage Row

UFC welterweight fighter Tyron Woodley has fired shots at his former foe, Leon Edwards. Woodley revealed that he watched the backstage tape of the altercation between Edwards and Masvidal. Edwards interrupted Masvidal during an interview, which then resulted in both men squaring off and Jorge landing a series of punches.

“Leon can never talk,”says Tyron Woodley

“Leon can never talk. I went back and watched the entire thing. Bruh if you’re watching this, never talk shit to anybody ever again .You are completely muted for life and you need a permanent time out. From where I’m from, nobody can ever walk the street if that happened to me. He should not be allowed to say anything after he got done like that.back stage and then Masvidal went off and had the greatest of years. You’re not even in the breath to talk fighting. That’s the biggest capital L I’ve seen in a long time,” said Woodley on Ariel Helwani’s show.

Tyron Woodley and Leon Edwards were set to face each other at UFC Fight Night 171. However, Edwards pulled out due to travel restrictions caused by the pandemic. Woodley and Gilbert Burns will face off at the end of this month in a highly anticipated bout.

Woodley was last seen in action losing the welterweight title to Kamaru Usman. Gilbert Burns has put together some great wins and is on a 5 fight win streak. However, irrespective of Burns’s impressive record, Woodley feels he is just a sacrificial lamb.

“I’m going to hurt this guy”

In an appearance on ESPN’S First Take Wednesday, Woodley said, “I’m going to hurt this guy. I mean, at the end of the day people just forget and he’s, unfortunately, going to be a sacrificial lamb to give a reminder to the world what I’m capable of.”

With Woodley eager to make a strong comeback and Burns on a winning streak, this fight will surely prove to be a close contest.
