In an amazing performance, Cejudo brought out meticulous planning and picture-perfect execution to dominate The Dominator.
A devastating knee knocked Cruz down, after which Cejudo engaged in ground-and-pound. He landed a plethora of unanswered strikes to Cruz’s head. The referee had seen enough and stopped the match.
However, Cruz was evidently scrambling, and many, including all three commentators, believe that the decision was possibly ill-timed. Cruz even made it clear to the referee that he disagreed with the decision.
Nevertheless, Cejudo dominated for the majority of the match, and Cruz did not have any complaints as well.

Henry Cejudo announced post-fight that he will now retire. He said that he has accomplished enough in his fighting career. He began the sacrifice for the sport at the age of 4.
Now, after all those years and winning an Olympics Gold medal, and two UFC titles, Cejudo figured that it’s time to call it a day.
Whatever the MMA Universe might think about the champ’s behavior, everyone acknowledges his legacy. He now wishes to go back home to his new girlfriend and enjoy retirement.
