Conor McGregor may have retired. However, he remains the biggest figure in the UFC. The Irish superstar has achieved things inside and outside the octagon that was previously never achieved by anyone in the UFC. Throughout his journey to the top, he had the unwavering support of UFC president Dana White.

However, the relationship between the two does not seem very good at the moment. Why? In a bid to prove why he retired, Conor McGregor posted screenshots of his private conversations with Dana White on Twitter.

The screenshots showed him requesting for a fight as soon as possible. This was met with a lot of skepticism from fighters and pundits alike.

On the recent episode of DC and Helwani, the pair discussed McGregor’s seriousness to fight anybody. Helwani started by saying that he did not understand how Conor fought for only 40 seconds in 2020.

He followed up by saying that ‘The Notorious’ wanted to fight desperately and was not given a fight. ‘DC’ did not buy this.

‘DC’ said, “Conor is trying to use a guy like you (Helwani) to prove that he will fight anybody…. The reality is Conor ain’t fighting anybody. It has to be the right fight.

“Listen, if Conor was willing to fight anybody he would’ve agreed to be the replacement fight for Khabib vs Tony. If he was willing to fight anyone, he would’ve agreed to that.”
