UFC president Dana White has reacted to ‘The Schmo’s’ hilarious call out for a grappling match against Ariel Helwani. The Schmo has become an insanely popular member of the MMA community and has interviewed several of the biggest stars in the sport. Also, his podcast regularly hosts UFC fighters, with Dana White appearing on the podcast recently as well. Ariel Helwani is a hugely controversial figure in the media community. Despite being a long-serving member of the media community, he was banned from UFC events for quite some time.

” If you’re an MMA fighter and this cat Ariel has caused beef, speak up”

“The Schmo is challenging Ariel Helwani to a 165-pound charity grappling competition. $25000 to the charity of the winner’s choice. If Ariel can’t make 165 pounds, The Schmo will bulk up to 185 pounds. If you’re an MMA fan, and this cat Ariel has snubbed you for a photo, or done you wrong, speak up! . And If you’re an MMA fighter and this cat Ariel has caused beef, speak up!” said the Schmo during his call out.

Dana White reacted to the hilarious situation, by offering his support for the Schmo. White said it would be unfair for Schmo to pick on Helwani and called him a wimp amongst a host of other insults.
