The Notorious posted a video of himself on Instagram, showing us how he is carrying on with his routine in quarantine. The video shows him throwing his infamous punches in his basement.

ESPN shared the video on Twitter, and Cejudo didn’t take a lot of time to give his comments. According to him, McGregor should focus on his takedown defense.

While McGregor does lag in the ground game, friendly advice wasn’t the reason Cejudo called the Irishman out.

Apparently, Henry is great buds with Justin Gaethje. And while the opponent for McGregor’s third fight of the year remains undecided, there’s a high chance that Justin Gaethje could fill in the spot.

Following that, Henry has called out McGregor a few times on behalf of and along with Justin Gaethje. And this is what he aimed to do right now, too.

Is Henry Cejudo right in his analysis of McGregor vs. Gaethje?

Let’s say a fight between the two was to take place in reality. Will the scenario proposed by Cejudo actually pan out?

Possibly, yes. Though Cejudo intended to mock McGregor in his tweet, The Notorious does have a lot to work on if he wants to further cement his name in the game.

And while he did avenge his defeat at the hands of Diaz, he hasn’t been able to do the same with Khabib. Most people, including Chael Sonnen, believe that Justin Gaethje is the only one who can match Khabib’s agility on the ground.

When one connects the dots, the outcome weighs in favor of Gaethje. But then again, Conor should not be taken lightly. When he fights, he fights to win; he has beaten people across 3 divisions. There aren’t many people who can claim to have done that.

Who do you think will win in a face-off between Conor and Justin?
