UFC has announced events for May 9, 13, and 16 which will emanate from Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena. Dana White told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that the company was looking at May 23rd for another event too. However, he didn’t provide a hint as to who could be on the card, nor did he reveal the venue. However, ESPN’s Ariel Helwani confirmed one of the matches on the card which will include Tyron Woodley.

“Sad how terrified, Colby Covington is of me and thinks he deserves a rematch after he got stopped. We in the same boat. I understand why my mentees Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington don’t want fight me with a clear head. I wouldn’t want to fight me Rn either.”

‘Durinho’ also confirmed the fight on his Twitter account.

However, the most important indicator was from Dana White who told ESPN that they were looking for a fight for ‘The Chosen One’ to headline the May 23 fight card.

‘The Chosen One’ will make his first foray into the Octagon since UFC 235 where he dropped the Welterweight Championship to ‘The Nigerian Nightmare.’

The Brazilian fighter has 4 wins from 4 fights since last April and is on a 5 fight win streak. He would also have the upper hand as he has the experience of fighting in an empty arena. He beat Demian Maia via first-round TKO at UFC Fight Night: Lee vs Oliviera on 14th March.
