The Carolina Panthers had drafted a DE in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. This NFL player then went on to spend six years playing in the league. But his career took a setback after being accused of multiple counts of domestic violence with his girlfriend. In 2015, the Dallas Cowboys signed him to a 1-year deal despite the DE receiving a four-game suspension from the league after accusations of strangling and threatening to kill his girlfriend. Even the Cowboys’ billionaire owner Jerry Jones had backed up the signing in 2015.

After a controversial footballing career and changing his field of sports to MMA, it was unclear what the disgraced player’s future would be like. But he recently left people astonished, as he revealed what he does for a living in the present after his professional sports career.

He felt that given the situation that surrounded Hardy back then, his comments would have gone through scrutiny, regardless. Unlike the rest of the people, Jones was more focused on what impact the player could make on the field for the Cowboys. He believed that Hardy deserved a second chance, like the rest of the people.
