After a triumphant victory after over two and a half years, Bobby Green responds to James Vick’s callout.

Green recently ended a two-fight losing skid after over two and a half years of a losing slump this Fight Night. At UFC on ESPN 11 at the UFC Apex Green pulled off a decision victory over Clay Guida via unanimous decision. This lightweight bout was a part of the preliminary bout on ESPN 11.

The fight ended in favor of Bobby Green as the scorecards after 2 rounds read 29-28, 29-28, 30-27. Bobby Green now holds a record of 25-10-1 MMA, 6-5-1 UFC. His significantly higher strikes are what got him the victory.
Green, later on, went in and discussed his stance and why he made the decision to change it the number of times he did. He went from southpaw to orthodox and he explained why.

He said, “I switched a couple of times, but I just felt the southpaw stance was a little bit difference. They had planned on me being orthodox and so I just switched it upon you and like, ‘Ah! Just when you thought I’d fight that way, I’m fighting this way today!”

Bobby Green goes after James Vick

Bobby Green even spoke about his opponent and their mid-fight trash talk. He said, “It’s a great experience, you know? To fight legends. Guys that have been through the tests of time fought champions, so I get to really test myself. … It was a real chess game.”

He added, “I always talk (expletive). I always just talk to guys, let them know that I’m right there in the fight, no matter what. Just being aware of everything. I’m just having fun, having a good time.”

Green also took this as an opportunity to respond to James Vick’s callout. Riding off a victory he said, “You tell him I’m gonna slap him when I see him! Tell him to bring it on!”
