

Controversial UFC fighter Mike Perry revealed how he met his girlfriend thanks to a fellow fighter. Perry said that Jon Jones introduced Perry and his girlfriend and essentially set them up during a meeting.

Perry has received plenty of criticism after he got rid of all his coaches and cornermen so that his girlfriend could corner him during the fight.

“So I walked in and Jon Jones saw me and he smiled. He looked to his right and he saw Latory and he grabbed her hand and he grabbed my hand.

He might have grabbed mine first; it makes me feel better if I say he grabbed mine first. He grabbed my hand and brought our hands together and I picked her up and gave her a hug and said, Let’s get out of here.” Said Perry on CBS sports
Perry is set to face Mickey Gall in the co-main event at UFC on ESPN 12. ‘Platinum’ Perry is coming off back to back losses against Geoff Neal and Vincente Luque.

Perry has openly criticized his corner during the build-up to the fight. Mike said, that his corner doesn’t give him any information that he doesn’t know already.

He further added that he doesn’t listen to his corner anyway, and getting rid of them would get his girlfriend the best seat in the house.
“OK, if I ain’t going to listen anyways, why the f— should they be here and get any of the credit?
What the f— did they do for me to get a front-row seat to one of the best f—ing shows on planet Earth?” said Perry on CBS

With Perry coming into the fight after suffering multiple defeats, it’s yet to be seen whether ‘platinum’ has made the right decision by getting rid of his team.
