“We Gotta Train Together Soon”- Francis Ngannou Responds to Mike Perry’s Jab at UFC Fighters

Mike Perry registered a massive win over Mickey Gall at UFC on ESPN 12, avoiding a hat trick of losses. Moreover, he managed to do so despite not having any coaches in his corner. ‘Platinum’ marched to the Octagon with just his girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez. In the post-fight chat, he name-dropped the 2nd ranked Heavyweight fighter Francis Ngannou whilst commenting on his physique and took a jab at many other UFC fighters. ‘The Predator’, who had an eye on the proceedings, responded positively. 

Francis Ngannou open to training with Mike Perry 

The Cameroonian fighter tweeted, “Congrats (Mike Perry), you looked awesome tonight. Thank you for the shout out, we gotta train together soon!”

The tweet was a response to Mike Perry saying, “I looked great. I looked better than 99% of UFC fighters. Only Francis Ngannou has got some physique on me.”

‘Platinum’ put in an impressive performance and managed to evade multiple takedown attempts from the submission specialist in Gall. He delivered on his promise at the face-offs where he claimed that the fight will be lit

Furthermore, the victory will be vindicating for Perry as he had to deal with Gall branding the fight as “one of the dumbest fighters versus one of the smartest.”

Ngannou is impressed with Platinum’s fitness. Furthermore, he would be happy that the Welterweight fighter placed him head and shoulder above all the UFC fighters. 

‘The Predator’ is currently waiting patiently for the Daniel Cormier- Stipe Miocic trilogy to play out. He has put in performances that make it hard to overlook him as the future number one contender in due time. 

Meanwhile, Perry has set off a trigger reaction among fighters, who are considering not having a packed corner. The win was his 3rd in 9 fights since September 2017. Furthermore, it was only the 3rd time he had claimed a win via decision.
