Joe Rogan Stuns Mike Tyson With a Crazy UFC Backstage Incident With Demetrious Johnson

Joe Rogan is one of the oldest and most entertaining commentators in the UFC. He has a large fan following due to this. But he also is an internet celebrity with his own podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan is an encyclopaedia on the UFC and knows the promotion and the fighters in and out.
He recently appeared on an episode of Mike Tyson’s podcast ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’ and had a lengthy discussion over many things. They discussed the much-awaited return of Conor McGregor to the UFC, who his ideal opponent should be, and other things.

Rogan told Tyson about one of his favorite fighters, Demetrious Johnson. The 54-year-old podcast host shared an interesting story of meeting ‘Mighty Mouse’ backstage after a UFC event.
“Dude he grabbed me once we were playing around. I went up to him backstage at the UFC I gave him a hug. But Mighty Mouse, I gave Mighty Mouse a hug and just playing, he hit me with two knees like *makes hitting noise*.” – said Rogan.
As everyone started laughing, Rogan clarified that he didn’t get hurt in the process. He added, “Just touched my body, didn’t hurt me. But touched me so fast that it was unsettling. I go wassup I give him a hug and he goes *makes hitting noise*.”
Tyson then enquired about Johnson’s whereabouts and Rogan told him that the former UFC flyweight champion is currently in the ONE Championship. ‘Mighty Mouse,’ known for his unbelievable speed, recently defeated Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a special rules fight.

As the time for his comeback comes close, fans and experts are speculating who his opponent might be. As for ‘The Notorious’ himself, he has already declared his ideal comeback fight. The 33-year-old former UFC double champion wishes to take on UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman for the title.

However, Joe Rogan isn’t a big fan of the idea. While discussing McGregor’s comeback, Rogan told Tyson what would he do if he was the Irishman’s manager.
“I would say fight a guy who is like a little below the championship level, maybe a guy on the come up, who like Conor has an advantage over but it’s still a competitive fight. Give him a test, but don’t put him in there like right away with Usman.” – said Rogan.

It will be interesting to see who the UFC eventually pit against ‘The Mystic Mac’ for the much-anticipated comeback fight.
