In a recent Instagram post that the Russian fighter uploaded on his Instagram feed, he shared a collage alongside Conor McGregor. The similarity that he found is heartwarming, to say the least. Even though the UFC star hasn’t yet replied to the ONE fighter officially, we are sure it would melt the Irishman to his very core. We can say that ‘Notorious’ is an emotionally driven man. This belief grows stronger every time people stumble upon his footage from UFC 189.

Conor McGregor’s special moment with the ONE Heavyweight champion

The Heavyweight champion who befriended McGregor with his Instagram post is none other than Anatoly ‘Sladkiy’ Malykhin. The fighter has his roots in Russia and currently fights for the ONE championship. Back in February 2022, he defeated his opponent, Kirill Grishenko, in a title fight. The fighter has faced no stoppage in his quest to conquer the ring.

After a fight, Malykhin witnessed his wife stepping into the ring to greet him with a long and warm hug. This recalled the Russian fighter’s memory back to the time when McGregor had a similar experience.
