UFC Singapore: Sergei Pavlovich Knocks Out Maurice Green in First Round

UFC Singapore prelims’fights are creating the buzz at the moment. In a heavyweight bout, Sergei Pavlovich took on Maurice Greene. The fight saw the 14th win and 11th knock out win for the Russian heavyweight.

Going into the fight Sergei Pavlovich was the favorite to win the fight. He had an unbeaten MMA record until he lost to the former heavyweight champion, Alistair Overeem which is not a bad loss at all considering how good Overeem is.

“I came here to do fast work and go home. I’ve been here two weeks already. I don’t think about the future, I’m just happy to win here. I want to take a rest now.” said Pavlovich on his emphatic in Singapore.

“I was preparing for all 3 rounds because knockouts always come spontaneously. I’m very happy that I was able to get rid of his streak & start my own. I want to rest a bit & after that, my coaches will decide what’s next.” said Pavlovich answering what’s next for him after the win.

After the win over Maurice Green( ranked 13), Sergei Pavlovich(ranked 14) ideally should get a higher ranked opponent for his next fight.
