Joe Rogan made fun of an iconic Rafael Nadal quote. The longtime voice of the UFC doesn’t shy away from taking a jibe at people on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. However, usually, there’s a method to his madness. And though, even in this case, people can make an argument for Rogan being reasonable, it wouldn’t be Rafael Nadal or any of his fans.

In a recent JRE episode with Jack Carr, the guest talked about a famous Rafael Nadal quote. The retired Navy SEAL shared an incident when Nadal was asked about whether he liked to win; The guest expressed, “Rafa said, ‘I love the game. And if you love the game you’re gonna win.'”
The guest absolutely loved the response from Nadal. Even while quoting the Spanish tennis star, the guest appeared proud. Meanwhile, Rogan had the total opposite reaction.
“That’s pretty simplistic though,” said Rogan and joked, “if you love the game, your knees are bad.”
Though Rogan might have said it humorously, the tennis star’s history with injuries makes it a bit harsh.

The former world number 1 has suffered various injuries throughout his career. Nadal has undergone various knee surgeries. Besides, his foot injuries, hamstring, shoulder, back, wrist, and hip all have caused him to stay off the court often in his legendary career. Despite that, he still holds the record for the most men’s singles Grand Slam titles, 21, in tennis history.
Thus, Rogan perhaps unknowingly made an error in judgment. However, the veteran UFC commentator knows a thing or two about injuries with his prior interactions with UFC athletes.
