“I have a huge deal of respect for what Logan and Jake Paul have done in the short amount of time, with the very small amount of combat sports experience they have. I respect the way they self-promote. They also really take a deep step into cornball territory and to play devils advocate, because they do corny sh*t a bunch of MMA fighter do corny sh*t…. we forgot what fighting is. There’s so much corny sh*t.”
“It’s become more about hype than about fight and that’s the opposite in me….Fighting will always be a f**king circus. You can do whatever sponsors and do whatever uniforms and do whatever you want, it will always be a little real sport and a little pro wrestling. But sometimes the gimmick side of the sport takes over and that’s happened a lot recently. Those kids are making a lot of money, I don’t hate on any man, do your thing.”
