UFC Vegas 36: Paddy Pimblett vs Luigi Vendramini

As mentioned earlier, Paddy ‘The Baddy’ finally makes his debut and the MMA world expects great things from him. He’s on a two-fight win streak and finished both his previous opponents by way of a decisive stoppage. The 16-3 fighter is heavily favored to dominate the fight no matter where it ends up.

Pimblett is especially adept at attacking the neck from back position and his aggression on the ground is a huge asset. Similarly, his ground and pound is equally ferocious and he’s not one to relent once he establishes position. Vendramini will be in for a long night if he isn’t defensively responsible against the Englishman.

Luigi Vendramini is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Fares Ziam in his last fight back in June. He’s 9-2 as a professional and certainly lacks the high-level experience that his opponent possesses. However, ‘The Italian Stallion’ is as relentless as they come and he’s not one to back away from a challenge.

Vendramini will have to be careful about not overextending himself against Paddy ‘The Baddy’ who is an opportunist in every sense of the word. The Italian fighter can take a punch and dish out punishment making him an ideal opponent across three rounds. Regardless of the outcome, fans can expect violence under the bright lights.
