UFC Fans Left Impressed as Marvin Vettori Puts on a Show Against Paulo Costa

UFC middleweights turned light heavyweights for their main event clash, Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori put on a show for the fans in Las Vegas. Right from the onset, the MMA community was buzzing as both men made their way to the cage.

The fight was built up as an all-out war and the fight delivered in more ways than one. Vettori threw everything barring the kitchen sink at Costa who refused to give way to ‘The Italian Dream’. The five-round war ended with Marvin Vettori getting his hand raised and he’s successfully managed to get back to the winning column.

Before the fight could kick off, Paulo Costa confronted Vettori in the ring and fans knew they were in for a violent main event. The first round was filled with action but Marvin Vettori managed to consolidate the position of the canvas following a slip by Costa.

However, the Brazilian powerhouse came out with his heavy arsenal of hooks and high leg kicks that found it’s targeted. Furthermore, Costa landed a devastating high kick that caught ‘The Italian Dream’ flush and had him wobbled.

Both men sustained a frenzied pace from that point on and the bout will be remembered as a Fight Night classic. Fans and fellow fighters took to social media and shared their excitement over their explosive scrap.

Vettori can now look towards chartering a course back to the title after securing a main event victory. As for Paulo Costa, he’s now suffered two straight losses and will have to go back to the drawing board.
