Francisco Trinaldo vs Dwight Grant: Exciting Welterweight Bout

Francisco Trinaldo has had an impressive professional fighting career of 26-8 to his name. He is a skilled finisher with nine knockout wins and five submission wins under his name.

On the other hand, Dwight Grant has a professional MMA record of 11-3 with a number of seven knockout wins under his belt. He made his UFC debut back in 2018 and is 4-2.

Coming into the fight, Grant has a three-inch height and six-inch reach advantage over Trinaldo. He can hit from a distance with good power. Grant will have to make use of his reach and avoid a close range. As the Brazilian possesses amazing grappling skills and also has more submission wins compared to Grant, who hasn’t won a fight via submission in his career.

Most of Trinaldo’s previous wins have come via a decision and he will try to do the same against Grant by controlling the pace in the fight. Hence, it will be difficult for the American to find a finish against the 43-year-old. Also, the latter’s experience will play a major role in the fight.
