“I would call out the guy right under me, that is Nate Diaz. I think you know, he only wants super fights, but man if we’re gonna follow the rankings, I’m above him. So I think that would be a great fight. I got a lot of respect for that guy and I would love to fight him. Our style man, it would be a banger of a fight.”

The Stockton native is arguably one of the biggest fights currently available to fighters on the UFC roster. Following his outings against Conor McGregor, he has been able to boost his profile amongst casual fans. Not to mention, hardcore MMA fanatics have been endeared to the Diaz Brothers ever since their run in Strikeforce.

A match-up between the aforementioned 170-pound fighters would be fireworks on paper. Both elite fighters have an extensive boxing background, thus offering a sure-shot slugfest for MMA fans. Additionally, their durability will be another key narrative if a fight between the two were to materialize.

The MMA community will be awaiting a possible booking in the future as Nate Diaz is currently without a fight. With no viable option in sight, a scrap between two game brawlers is an enticing overview for fight fans.
