VIDEO: Joaquin Buckley Delivers Another Blockbuster Knockout At UFC 255

Joaquin Buckley got a ferocious TKO win over Jordan Wright at UFC 255. The ‘New Mansa’ finished Wright just 18 seconds after the start of the second round. This was his second KO/TKO victory in the UFC and came hot on the heels of his stunning KO of Impa Kasanganay. He accrued thousands of eyeballs, and it’s still considered as one of the best TKO wins in the UFC.

UFC shared ‘New Mansa’s daunting TKO win over Wright. They wrote, “NOT JUST A ONE HIT WONDER.”

‘New Mansa’ is a devastating striker. He has secured 75% of wins with T/KO. He dominated Wright by constantly pressuring him with his vicious power. Buckley landed 43 significant strikes, out of which 31 were brutal headshots and 12 went to Wright’s body. He controlled Wright for 1:49 seconds and scored 2 Knockdowns in 2 rounds.

The pre-fight predictions saw Buckley surge ahead, courtesy of his previous outing. Everyone believed he possessed that enigmatic strength to put anyone to sleep, and he did not disappoint. Given his emphatic win at the UFC Apex, fans will be wondering what is next for this unique talent.

Who’s next for Joaquin Buckley?

The scary KO artist is currently unranked in the middleweight division. In order to make his way to the top, he must take on ranked contenders like Marvin Vettori, Omari Akhmedov, or someone above them.

Post-fight, in a conversation with Joe Rogan, ‘New Mansa’ called out James Krause for a welterweight bout at Fight Island in January.
