When White appears to have a clear personal preference for a band, he goes to great lengths to integrate the artist’s music into various aspects of his life. The CEO has even gone as far as featuring some of his favorite musicians’ tracks in UFC events and Power Slap promotions. And he seems to be doing something similar for Des Rocs.

Dana White and his love for Des Rocs

Dana White’s fascination with Des Rocs is not a new thing. The UFC CEO at Theo Von’s podcast asserted that Des Rocs’ concert blew him away, and he further added that they were so good that he had to fly to different cities to witness the New Yorker’s show on back-to-back days. “I was blown away by how good they were. I was so blown away that I jumped on a plane the next day and saw him again in San Diego,” he said.

White recently took to his Instagram handle to add a story appreciating the talent of Des Rocs. He added a part of their concert in his story with a caption that said, “Can’t believe what I just witnessed in @iamdesrocs. Keep your eyes and ears real open. You’ll be hearing from this kid.”

Interestingly, White on Theo Von’s podcast further claimed that most of the music that the general populace witnesses for the UFC and Power Slap came from Des Rocs. He emphasized that most commercials and hype pieces have music from Des Rocs.

Rock, as a genre, is innate in White and Des Rocs is probably the second music band that he liked. The first one was the popular American band ‘Rage Against the Machine.’

When Fox asked White about the band then, he stated that he was a big fan of ‘Rage Against the Machine.’

“But I don’t know if I was into Rage yet. I wasn’t into Rage. I started to hear some of their stuff, and it’s just impossible to hear Rage and not love it, you know. But you know, I wasn’t like buying the first album. I caught on to them later.I have seen them a few times. Actually, I saw them when they opened for U2, too.
