UFC 299 just went down and Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera lost against  “Suga” Sean O’Malley via a decision after an amazing contest. Amongst several other people, a bantamweight prospect, Umar Nurmagomedov weighed in on this match-up. According to him, he was very critical of the challenger. He asserted that Vera is not a versatile fighter and cannot fight if put on the back foot by someone else.

Post the fight, on X, he said, “Marlon Vera is a lion when he’s dominating, and chicken when he’s dominating. Weak. Be strong in any situation!”
