Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s latest collaboration with United Airlines brings in new island and uniforms
The Japanese Branch of United Airlines announced a stunning collaboration with Animal Crossing: New Horizon for Nintendo Switch through a press release. They stated about opening a new island. The island will be available in the game till March 31, 2022, and was created by a few employees from United Airlines Japan belonging to several departments.

The rationale behind creating this concept is to simulate flight travel and experience for the same to players who have been restricted to their homes. United Airlines have personalized the island in unique ways which will definitely be an interesting place to explore for the players. The island features several products from the airline and their pledge towards maintaining diversity and inclusivity.
What’s special about this Island?
Firstly, the island is shaped like an airplane. Players can experience a simulation of traveling by air in the Travel Experience area. This area allows players to simulate every real-life action of an airport, such as check-in and boarding. They can also click pictures of their airline seat and the cockpit as well!

Upon entering the island, the players are greeted by a flight attendant and a pilot. The pilot here is a female who displays United Airlines’ support towards maintaining inclusivity and diversity.

One of the best additions to the island is the rainbow-themed T-shirts, which symbolize United’s support for the LGBTQ+ community.
